Oldgoat_MN Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Tyler "High Leverage" Duffey.Yeah, it's a pretty good pitcher to bring into a game with this big a lead, but they worked too hard to get back into this thing.I think Molly is doing the right thing. wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 No you appear to be a Viking fan. The Twins have had some bad seasons, and every once in a while over the years have blown bigger leads, but they don't let you down in a regular season game with a big lead often.I've seen the Twins blow enough leads over the years or take a close game late an absolute blowout. Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2017 Author Posted May 23, 2017 Where did that pitch miss. I think that was another strike. I'm not sure that Duffey has really thrown a ball yet.

David HK Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Oh, my, my.... I've been having a fun time peeking at that O's blog- a lot of stuff they've said about Ubaldo sounds vaguely familiar. But somebody posted this during the 6-run inning, with caption: Notice the "O" over the hydrogen bomb's mushroom cloud? Oldgoat_MN, DiscGolfer, Dozier's Glorious Hair and 3 others 6
jimmer Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 (edited) Indians rotation is 3rd in the AL in FIP and WAR. Tied for 1st in K/9, 5th in BB/9. But they have the 2nd worst LOB%, and they have the 2nd highest BABIP (which contributes to the worst AL ERA), so they apparently have the worst rotation... Edited May 23, 2017 by jimmer Blake 1
Blake Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Balk Showalter is not amused.Even better, can you imagine if Torii had been in the booth during that whole thing? He'd have been merciless. Dozier's Glorious Hair, 70charger, wsnydes and 1 other 4
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Are there that few people at the game that I can hear police sirens?
David HK Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Jeepers, Polanco seems to be heating up a little, too. Nice.......

It's Baltimore You can hear them But the people of Baltimore have gotten so used to them that they don't hear them anymore. So they gotta make em louder. Blake, Aggies7, glunn and 1 other 4

jimmer Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 (edited) Going into today, Twins wRC+ at home was 103, Twins wRC+ on the road was 97. Were our announcers just saying we hit better on the road? Cause no...not by wRC+ or standard BA/OBP/SLG% Edited May 23, 2017 by jimmer bird 1
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 I missed all of this, but am liking the score. As always, insurance runs would be appreciated. Riverbrian 1
