D. Hocking Verified Member Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 It's just one more example of how unfit he is to be president. Literally one phone call away, he has the most comprehensive intelligence agencies in the world, people who can tell him up-to-the-moment information about what's happening in the world. So what's this clown doing instead? Watching Fox News. That is probably appropriate for the administration and the times since Fox News would be "alternative" intelligence. I did see someone add to the Swedish Fish Incident saying that they are all gone because they were sent to the survivors of the Bowling Green massacre.

D. Hocking Verified Member Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Wow - I read about this, but did not actually see the full clip. I did not realize how insulting, clueless and classless he was when he made the statement.. He responds a question about the increase in anti-antisemitism, that was politely prefaced by a clarification that he was not accusing Trump himself of being antisemitic, by insulting the reporter, making it all about himself (least antisemitic person ever), and attacking the media. He also showed no concern about the statement that that had been an increase in antisemitic activity. http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/16/politics/donald-trump-news-conference-anti-semitism/

ashbury Verified Member Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Oh man. I just realized that in a few short weeks, Trump's going to have to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. That's must retch television. FTFY
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Preview -- I am sure it will be the best first pitch ever, but its greatness will be downplayed by the fake media.

That's must watch television. I don't pay much attention to this tradition. I am assuming it will be for the Nationals? Business wise, I don't think I would let it happen. But alas, I am not a billionaire and do not own a MLB team.

I hope he wears lights colored pants and when he makes the throw, he has a massive bowel movement and ****s in his pants. I would like the 40K people in attendance to notice that. It would be thrilling to see how Kelly Ann handles that or spins it the next day. These are interesting times.

Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Better than mainstream poos.Disagree, this whole thing's a smear campaign.

D. But his core supporters are watching him closely. It's all part of the playbook. Trump reads the anti-Semitism statement in his liberal, unserious voice, all the better during a visit to an African American history museum. Two birds with one stone. Trump's Nazi supporters understand this is all part of the process and aren't shaken by this "statement" one bit. Trump's encouragement of violence against the weak and powerless continues apace.

jimmer Verified Member Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Jimmy Fallon did a funny skit about Trump starting his own news agency. TNN.

PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 It's been a couple days since the Trump administration has done anything stupid. But today Spicey announced that the DOJ will be cracking down on the states that have legalized pot. So much for the party of state rights (er, except when it comes to discriminating against transgender people).

I suspect that they have they did something stupid in those couple of days, but the stupidity does not get as magnified when someone locks up Orange Voldemort's phone. I am fairly confident with CPAC going on, there will at least be a lot of stupid things said. They do seem to be very fluid about what is a state issue and when they want government interference. However, I am not sure how transgender rights should be left to the state. If civil rights issues were left for the state to determine, I think Jim Crow, miscegenation laws etc. might still exist in a few of the states, if they were left as a state's rights issue.

Heads: States Decide, Tails: Fed Gov decides.
PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 The Reaper speaks. How can people not see through the doublespeak. It's infuriating.“They’re corporatist, globalist media that are adamantly opposed — adamantly opposed to an economic nationalist agenda like Donald Trump has,” Bannon said. Yet some of the most powerful officials crafting Trump’s economic policies have deep roots in the global, corporate realm. Commerce Secretary nominee Wilbur Ross was a billionaire investor; Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin was a hedge fund manager; and National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn was president of Goldman Sachs, to cite three. And all are being tasked with carrying out an agenda that includes standard GOP fare, from cutting taxes for the wealthy to rolling back banking regulations.
jimmer Verified Member Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 The Reaper speaks. Of everyone in the administration, I hate him the most. I can't BELIEVE a guy with his racist and anti-Semite beliefs has been given ANY power in the government much less almost the most.

When I read your posts about Trump, in my head I hear the growling of your voice and the vitriolic tone in your words. I would vote you in as the Guy that hates Trump the most on TD. Saying that - I back you up 100%, and know I am a passenger on the same boat you are on. Bannon is the dog excrement on the bottom of our shoes, and his position of power is indeed horrifying to say the least.
