Worrying about letting down game thread Twins fans this season is like worrying if starving life raft survivors will be upset that the ribeyes aren't grass fed beef.

Whoever has survived at this point in the season deserves 110% effort for game thread intros! There's a couple of ideas in the works as we speak... A clue: Your wish is granted.....

Only on the replay. On the live shot he's usually jogging across the plate by the time they switch away from the CF batter cam.

Maybe Duffey is the worst pitcher ever, but I just can't blame any of the pitchers anymore for anything. None of them. Maybe Centeno calls better games within the pitch to contact framework we still live by. I don't know.

So here I am, innocently flipping through the channels, and I see it... You're not fooling me, North. Isn't it convenient North chose today of all days to write a game thread??

 

Maybe he saw into the future, and knew the Twins would have a lead at one point in the game.... OR, maybe he needed anything to distract him from the World Cup of Hockey! Feelimg nervous about the Russians yet?

"Flying" suggests that he missed the bases being airborne and everything. 

 

"Around the Bases" Also suggests that he missed the bases as well by going around them.

Watching catchers set up outside on Dozier, and watching one pitcher after another miss it I the inside makes me think it's almost getting into their head. You get it inside in this guy, and he's gonna kill it. Just have to keep it outside,, ,,,,,,,aw bleep!
