I would like the next Twins GM to be able to speak intelligently and give fans some sort of hope.

 

Listening to Ryan and now Antony does not exactly give me confidence they have any plan.

Listening to Antony talking about the team's trading chips is just like listening to Ryan talking about the Twins trading chips and it terrifies me.

 

As does him mentioning he's been in regular contact with Terry and Dick grilling him about extensions for Suzuki, Nunez, etc.

 

I'm really getting the feeling this isn't an audition as much as it's a coronation. Ugh.

It's not just tonight. Listening to his interviews throughout the years is just slightly more tolerable than listening to Ryan or TK.

Whoever is directing the broadcast is an idiot. Kepler's mom comes all the way from Berlin, and they interview her during an important at bat with runners on second and third, and she doesn't even get to watch him. Plus we have to look at split screen. So annoying. And rude to mom. Selfish. Do that crap at a different time. Idiots.
