He did a great job of making Berrios not look like the worst pitcher on the roster...

So he's got that going for him...which is nice.

Berrios could have used some defense. Grossman and Escobar's limited range changed the game.

It changed it a small bit, they hit Jose pretty hard today

Are you stalking me? Hard hit and caught by outfielders can lead to a quality start. Good thing Chargois got another opportunity.

Back to the thread topic - How about that Boshers?

Minor league free agents like Ramirez, Boshers and Albers seem to be available year-round for virtually nothing. Why not promote more of your harder-throwing drafted guys quicker through the system?

Which one wouldn't be batting practice? The AAA pitchers brought up so far seem to only offer in game batting practice.   The AA pitchers are injured or unimpressive for the level

Boshers is getting an MRI today for a sore elbow. The clock is approaching midnight for this Cinderella story. Next up, Pat Light. Oh boy!

I was at the Cubs game two nights ago and saw Chapman hit 103 multiple times.  I am very much looking forward to a Twins pitcher hitting triple digits, especially if at least some of them are in the strike.

Chapman's fastballs were between 99 and 103.  He threw two sliders (according to the scoreboard anyway).  Both were very high and very outside, and were at 92 and 93.  Yikes.  Let's see The Light!

Tommy Milone, and his twin brother who throws slightly harder than Tommy, throw a combined speed of 101 mph :-)
