So I'm thinking...'how ELSE do we sell more nine dollar beers?' and I'm thinking...if they're forced to STAY there longer..."Maybe they should try free beers? That would be a draw. Obviously can't do that when the Brewers come to town.

Blake Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I caught Dozier going opposite field shortly after Plouffe went yard. Unfortunately, though, Nolasco just had to be Nolasco.

Darius Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I'm more offended that they have two rings in 20 years and nobody gives a turkey about them in miamiEh, they just have higher standards down there. If a team sucks, there are plenty of other things to focus on. I was in Miami in 2003 when they won they won the Series. It seemed like the entire city was out in the streets. It was like freaking Mardi Gras. I love the Twins and my home state as much as anyone, but I couldn't even imagine it being similar in Minnesota if they were to win it next year, for example. Sure, people would care. Then they'd pick up the remote and flip it to 9 o'clock in time to catch the weather before the confetti finished falling.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 For the love of god it's only the 6th inning "Does anyone know... where the love of god goes... when the bullpen turns minutes to hours?"
