Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Tonkin looks like a young and thin Bert B.Too bad his curve doesn't look like berts
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I didn't see any Twins on that all-star game balloting list.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Too bad his curve doesn't look like bertsYou're right. There was a Tonkin curve...Dead center 435 feet.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I didn't see any Twins on that all-star game balloting list. There shouldn't be any aside from possibly Nunez. Every team should not have a player. Haha another home run. Just atrocious.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Why'd these fans even stay after the delay?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Why'd these fans even stay after the delay?Maybe they're homeless
twinssporto Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I didn't see any Twins on that all-star game balloting list.Yo Adrianne! The brain damage didn't start to happen until Rocky fought the big Russian.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Tonkin is lucky there were only 2 runs scored that inning.
hybridbear Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 The HRs given up are getting ridiculous...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Last weekend's semi decent play made me forget how truly awful this club is. Now, I'm remembering
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Maybe they're homelessThey'd be better off going to the Dorothy Day!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 "Little Big League" is on mlb network. Not even the most embarrassing twins related item on tv today
hybridbear Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 The strike zone seems a bit large today...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 The rays are 7 games under and have looked like a playoff contender this series
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 The good news is that just like a very bad batting average, after a couple of months in the tank the "winning" percentage is barely affected by each individual loss.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 "Little Big League" is on mlb network. Not even the most embarrassing twins related item on tv todayThe movie "Twins" is on MPLEX tomorrow at 6:05!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 The good news (I guess) is that gophers baseball leads Binghamton, 7-5 in the 6th
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I hope this is Tonkin's last stint with the Twins!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 The rays are 7 games under and have looked like a playoff contender this seriesThe Twins are like that D One college football team that used to be decent a few years ago, but now everybody is lining up to get them on their non-conference schedule to pad their record.
jimmer Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I hate those wide and inside pitches....I meant the strike zone being wider especially where the umpire sets up which is between the catcher and batter. In other words it looked like an inch or two off the plate but close to the batter was a strike today as opposed to an inch or two off the plate away from the batter being called a strike.

I know, I was just yanking your chain.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Why'd these fans even stay after the delay?Same reason you're still hanging around the GT, the laughs.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 With Santana getting roughed up again, the number of Twins starters with more than 3 starts and an ERA < 4.50 = http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6LBhGJGr7Fg/Vp0didt6OJI/AAAAAAAABh8/HBoNyVc_Wcc/s1600/zeroe.gif
jimmer Verified Member Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 what channel did they switch the game to?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 It's totally precious that the Rays are having a meeting on the mound like they're super worried about a big Twins rally. What a polite bunch of guests.
