jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Good to see Dozier hit a dinger. He's looked so miserable the last few weeks, it was sad.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Better stop before you go blind. I have post #55 and you have post #59 We are on the same page!!! Think about that... it should make you shudder.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 I dunno, the Twins are making a run at it.The Law of Thirds works because it's just as hard for a good team to win more than two thirds of their games as it is for a bad team to lose two thirds. That last third is tough. It may have to do with the ratio of pi to the size of an average dessert plate. You can get about a third of a pie on the plate, but that still leaves two thirds of the pie, and if you try to eat more than two thirds of a pie, it's hard. Don't even try it with a cheesecake...
Blake Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 I post enough that I've been on the same page with myself... many many times. Musical Interlude:
rghrbek Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 okay fellas, only 24 more outs to go ... 21 now...the suspense, anticipation is killing me!
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 I like the way Grossman flips the bat back and forth in front and behind his helmet. It's kinda cute. His swing, you mean?
Blake Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Unfortunately, if Duffey keeps up with this no scoring by the opposing team thing, he's not long for the rotation. He's out of step with everyone else.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Whoa, that was scary. Both guys yelling, "I got it!" That was almost a nasty collision.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Better stop before you go blind. Are we still at least kind of talking baseball?

Every Team will win 54 games and Every Team will lose 54 Games. It's the other 54 games that matter. We haven't even played 54 games yet. Thanks Jimbo... I feel better. We got a chance!!!!
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Damn it Dozier PULLING THE BALL AGAINYep he's all fixed now!
Blake Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 I had to double check and make sure which uniforms were in the field. Nope, not the Twins. However, those players should be awarded honorary Twins teamship.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Whoa, that was scary. Both guys yelling, "I got it!" That was almost a nasty collision. After watching Orlando in RF this series. Sano looks wonderful.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 On the other hand, the Law of Thirds is on our side. Very hard for even the worst teams to lose more than two thirds of their games... Would this be one of the inscrutable Unwritten Laws of Baseball?
James Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 It sounds like the Royals are really trying to help the Twins win today.
rghrbek Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Zuke needs to put that ball in play...ugh Molitor a suicide squeeze with SanTan in the bottom of 2?

Blake Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Dick: "The Royals have tried very hard to give the Twins a run this inning." Made me laugh.

big dog Verified Member Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Dylan Gee doesn't look real dominating today. I wouldn't mind putting up a 12-spot or something.
