The Law of Thirds works because it's just as hard for a good team to win more than two thirds of their games as it is for a bad team to lose two thirds. That last third is tough.

 

It may have to do with the ratio of pi to the size of an average dessert plate. You can get about a third of a pie on the plate, but that still leaves two thirds of the pie, and if you try to eat more than two thirds of a pie, it's hard. Don't even try it with a cheesecake...

Unfortunately, if Duffey keeps up with this no scoring by the opposing team thing, he's not long for the rotation. He's out of step with everyone else.

Every Team will win 54 games and Every Team will lose 54 Games. 

 

It's the other 54 games that matter. 

 

We haven't even played 54 games yet.

I had to double check and make sure which uniforms were in the field. Nope, not the Twins. However, those players should be awarded honorary Twins teamship.

After watching Orlando in RF this series.
