James Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Could happen, with no catcher...But 6000 pitches is a little bit much...There people go again, putting too much emphasis on pitch counts.
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I'm betting that Verlander reaches 2000 strike outs today. Nuh uh.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 There people go again, putting too much emphasis on pitch counts.early leader for post of the game.
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Typically I looked forward to day baseball games, but this one smells like a blowout. Might go catch a matinee instead, has anyone seen any of the following movies: Sicilian VampireMoney MonsterKeanu Any worth seeing? It's $8 day at the theater down the block.Never heard of two of those, but Keanu is a'ight.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 There people go again, putting too much emphasis on pitch counts.True. If he has a shot at a record like that, ya gotta leave him in.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 On a serious note, I'm completely over any leftover infatuation I might have had for Rosario. He's just not a good baseball player.
FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Boy with our strong combination of weak contact and striking out, this team doesn't really stand a chance of getting any better...

He's just not a good baseball player. Tell me about it! I shaved my eyebrows to look like his, and these things are taking forever to grow back. Disappointing to say the least.

I figured he'd hit ok, not great, but ok. I figured he was an above average corner defender (not as good as last year, but good). Apparently, only watching the games on line, and not actually SEEING players is not the best way to scout.......
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Send Rosario down and put Oswaldo out there. Let this be Oswaldo's make or break year. I am up for this.

James Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Anyone else having trouble with the ads loading really slow on here? You know, I hadn't really noticed... or cared. Of course now I'm going to look at every ad.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Send Rosario down and put Oswaldo out there. Let this be Oswaldo's make or break year. Yeah and here comes a Grossman to replace him. That would be gross in and of itself.
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Anyone else having trouble with the ads loading really slow on here? This guy wants to meet Russian beauties and he wants to meet them now!!!!!
Blake Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Yeah and here comes a Grossman to replace him. That would be gross in and of itself. Well, I think Seth suggested the outfield of the future, Rosario, Buxton and Kepler, should play together in AAA this year. The season is over and done with at this point, might as well start working on next year. Grossman would be filler until Kepler et al came up.
James Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 This guy wants to meet Russian beauties and he wants to meet them now!!!!!He gets more interesting ads than I do. Mine are all for community colleges for some reason. I'm not sure any of them offer the Ph.D program that I'm looking for.

Seth consistently shows a grasp of the human side of the game and I think that side gets over looked by many of us looking at a bunch of numbers. I followed Seth to Twin's Daily so ultimately Seth has been responsible for every word that I've typed on this site. However... I think Seth would be OK... If I disagreed with him on one or two things. I kinda do here.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I am getting ads for "London Style".....I am assuming that is not a good choice by adserv...... They were loading very slowly on vikingsjournal, so I left...
Blake Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 A right-handed hitter can go opposite field? Interesting.

Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Need a serious wake up call.Horrible OF defense, with no offense to support it. Nolasco basically has to strike the side out because the defense is terrible.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Nolasco was striking everyone out. He probably should go back to that.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 That catch has to be made. How long will the foot shooting continue. You'd think the foot would be just bone fragments scattered over the ground at this point.

Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 That catch has to be made. How long will the foot shooting continue. You'd think the foot would be just bone fragments scattered over the ground at this point. Yet they continue, and add to that "Don't worry about it and let it affect your offense." Right. That works. The mindset this org is operating at right now is mystifying.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 The Twins players of this year will be able to relive this season for decades to come, thanks to the magic of video. Cool.
