I lived in both South Dakota and North Dakota for a long time and there's no doubt in my mind S Dakota is more beautiful.

Honestly... based on the view of where I currently reside.

Gary Indiana is more Beautiful.

However... the area south of Watford City and North of Medora... On Par with the best of South Dakota... in my opinion... of course.

Provus:  "SWUNG on and missed."

And now we have the real reason the Gatorade Cooler has not been swung on....

We ended up in a suburb for the first year, renting, while we try to figure out some things. Haven't made it downtown yet, other than to get the younger son off the Train from Seattle.

But, my wife has previously visited the food truck block, looking forward to it.

I'll likely be heading there in October.  I'll let you know and maybe we can meet up and stumble around some of the weird bars they have :-)

Honestly don't know how the Twins are going to win 50 games.

I love the Black Hills especially right outside of Spearfish.

One part of me wonders if the Twins have any pride but after watching the way the team is sleepwalking through the season, the answer is readily apparent.

Team just isn't that talented.  Below average defensively and offensively.  Very bad pitching.  If we made an All AL Central 25 man roster, we might not even have one player on the team.

Bremer said this team can't be as bad as they are playing.

Then both he and Bert said last year's team didn't overachieve.

These guys DO watch the games, right?  They do look at the numbers, right?

Now the announcers are putting all the blame on the players.  Molitor and Ryan, free of blame.  Then they under-cut Maddon's value.  Funny thing is, they talk about how great of a roster the Cubs have.  That's fair.  Doesn't Epstein and Hoyer get credit for assembling such a team?  Ryan has assembled this team and yet all the blame goes on the players and not the poorly constructed roster?

They do know Ryan picked these players (or, the Ryan led FO, if that's your flavor).

Yeah... I've seen that area and loved it.

I've driven all of the lower 48 states now and here are a few of the (not so obvious) jaw dropping locations that I've seen.

The Immediate Eastern Side of the Cascades in Washington. As the mountains get closer... you start to pull out of that desert and Boom... Green... Trees... and Mountains. Jaw dropping.

The Area around Cooperstown New York... I had no idea that it was suchan  amazingly beautiful countryside. I was just going to visit the HOF and the scenery was unexpected bonus. Foothills... Lakes and a well kept up small town.

Northwest Illinois... The rest of Illinois is so awful that you are surprised at the improvement as you drive west past Rockford and toward Iowa. The Hills start to roll and you can see miles and miles of green field off in the distance.

Central Kentucky... I have no idea why... it's almost like they have a state law that everything has to be perfect.

Pittsburgh... The most beautiful big city I have seen and I've seen most of them. Was expecting industrial and dirty and it was nothing like that at all.

This list doesn't include the obvious site like the Grand Canyon or Yosemite. Just some surprises.

The announcers also know that the players don't pay their salaries :)

Not surprising. Bremer's been the President of the Front Office Apologist Association for years.

Nice list.

Coeur d'Alene is probably the prettiest non-coastal city I've seen in the US.  As far as coastal cities go, I like Carmel, CA.

Bert says that he knows the fans are frustrated, but they shouldn't give up on this team...times like these (3 errors so far, 3 unearned runs, numerous cutoffs missed, 1 fly ball missed...) I have to ask myself what would the Dazzleman do?  I can't think that he's sugarcoating this abomination.

I assume the omission of Inver Grove Heights was simply an oversight?

I forgot about Coeur d'Alene. That's an Oasis like place of beauty.

It so ramshackle all around that Northern Tip of Idaho and then Boom... Coure d'Alene with that big Lake and all the money apparently because the ramshackle goes away.

Never been to Carmel but I did drive the California Coastline and that was over the top beautiful.

and the reasoning was that they wear a major league uniform....hell, I can do that.

I know that I've said that we need to trade some vets at the deadline, but what if nobody wants them?  I say this seriously.  There is a very realistic chance that no one will want any of these guys.
