I love that kind of stuff.

I like Juan Centeno. He plays a brand of baseball that I appreciate. Play tricks on your opponent, that's what makes baseball fun.

Yeah,   but at this point in Suzuki's career,   it would seem that anything Centeno does differently could be a plus.

Duffey should have been up here from the start. It didn't happen that way, but I am glad to have him now.

 

Yup,   but the important thing is that the Twins reached double digit wins by the middle of May even without him for the first half of that stretch...

I blame you for slacking out on your Rally Rum duties. That's when this team went to pot for the second time this season ... and the first time was because of your extended hiatus from the site.

 

It's all your fault. Now get back to work and help us win some games, or I'll send you down to AAA. :)

 

Edit: And it isn't the relief you should be thanking, either; the starters did their job and did it well. They deserve a little more credit than you're willing to admit.

Rally Rum seemed like a one time thing. Once they lost after that winning streak, I felt like I was being a square peg fitting into a round hole when I used it. I used my gut instinct on stopping that routine before I was deemed to be a lynching candidate. :)

 

To be honest, I like our starting pitching more than the bullpen, especially now. Berrios, Duffy and Santana is not a bad place to be now that this season has been remodified expectation wise. Now we just need to get May in there.

Regardless, while the square peg may not have fit as well as a round one, it would've slowed the flow. Anything is better than nothing ... never forget that.*

 

And there's always the issue of being lynched for failing to post any rally icon.

 

I'll refrain from commenting on the May reference as this is a game thread.
