Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Anything sinister in Duffey getting pulled mid-inning? Only following on Game Day and suffering from early Spring Training injury paranoiaProbably just reached his pitch quota.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Ah, MLB.tv streaming is back. I'm really looking forward to seeing these two commercials for the next seven months.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Mauer pulls the ball!Halsey, you're not here are you?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 There's the Ricky we know and love! 300 foot liner, four feet foul. A few more starts and he should be able to get hitters to keep it fair.
DrNeau Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Please take Nolasco out. He is terrible.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Determination #1:Duffey > Nolasco.
DrNeau Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Nolasco pulled. His line: 1.1 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 20.25 ERA. LOL.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Halsey, you're not here are you?No, got it on gameday.
Blake Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 My vantage point for tonight's game:image.jpegRub it in... On a more serious note, was the line drive over Sano's head misplayed or just hit that hard?
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Rub it in... On a more serious note, was the line drive over Sano's head misplayed or just hit that hard?I couldn't tell. Looks like his route could've been a little better. But the ball was hit pretty hard. So if all else fails, blame Nolasco or credit the hitter with a well hit ball.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Rub it in... On a more serious note, was the line drive over Sano's head misplayed or just hit that hard?I expect this to be discussed ad nauseum tomorrow. An average right fielder catches it* *with the caveat that it was hit about 700 miles per hour EDIT: 7,000 mph
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 The Twins have looked good tonight. Park and Mauer had good at bats and Escobar got a ton of ground balls, converting all of them. Nolasco was Nolasco but thankfully he is no longer considered a key contributor to rely on. Cheers to game threads in 2016!

An average right fielder catches it* *with the caveat that it was hit about 700 miles per hour EDIT: 7,000 mphI was just wondering. It's early yet, though not too early to be down on Mr. Nolasco. For whatever reason, Mr. Nolasco, to me, seems to be just going through the motions of being a pitcher.

That's probably a fairer assessment.

Hrbowski Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Carlos Quentin is hungry for a job....
GP830 Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Santana looks good. Dozier seems to have brought a new approach and it's showing.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I'm trade marking the name LOLasco as long as he remains on this team. Book it.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Quentin being Quentin- HBP. No effort to have the ball NOT hit him.
Dozier's Glorious Hair Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Joe Benson didn't show much hustle in that run to home.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Benson casually jogs home to get forced out.
DrNeau Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Difference of the game might literally be one inch. Gotta run that out, Benson. Game on the line and you coast.
DrNeau Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Benson cost us the game by not running that out. Good message that needs to be barked out loud in the clubhouse. That was a tie game if he had even ran 3/4 speed. Unacceptable.
Blake Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Benson casually jogs home to get forced out.Benson is a veteran and knows better. I couldn't believe it.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Benson is a veteran and knows better. I couldn't believe it. Plus isn't he a veteran who does not have that many chances left to prove he has what it takes?
