The HP ump has called an extremely good game tonight, by my eyes. Maybe missed a high breaking ball strike to Sano, and a running FB from Santana that handcuffed Zuke.

 

Otherwise...pretty darn good zone.

The advent of pitchFX has had a big impact - in a positive way - on umpires.

 

That said, a lot of baseball players spend a lot of time getting angry about balls and strike calls. Automation would take a lot of that element out of the game, which would be a good thing.
