Honest answer: it's like my earliest memory ... well, I remember things from before then, but nothing stands out like that. Of course at the time it didn't mean anything to me, but the stress was felt by everyone and it's engrained in my memory.

That's explainable because the older you grow, the less you remember. At least that's the case in my family ... I'm doomed when it comes to Alzheimer's ... especially with my bad eating/sleeping habits. Well, actually I consider my sleeping habits to be better than some (if not most), but when it comes to eating ... I'll admit I'm not the person you want to model yourself after. My family accuses me of being anorexic, but I'm not, really. I just forget to eat. Though ... that's probably a common anorexic excuse, so I shouldn't even try to convince you. My sisters are constantly saying, "Always, you're not fat." I know I'm not fat. I don't need to be told that ... but they think I'm anorexic and probably googled the best things to say to anorexic people. It gets a little old.

 

But the favorite is, "You don't want to end up like Terri Shiavo, do you?"

 

Hmm ... next time I think I'll respond that no, I don't ... can you please take care of me when I go into a coma?
