sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Well, see, RB's game intro referenced crabby. And then blue crabs. So North, being clever, made a "crabby" reference, tying his comment back to the intro. "Blue," of course, is another way of saying "sad." So....crabby, and blue. Blue crabs. Blue crabby. Or something like that. I thought it was funny. Maybe I overthought it. Actually, no, it was pretty good. I'm just culturally stunted. I googled blue crab, which brought up the wiki disambiguation page, and it's apparently the Maryland state crustacean. This gives added depth and resonance to a running gag i had not hitherto understood. I'm sorry i was so lazy. Riverbrian 1

LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I like Glynn better than whoever was 3 base coach a few years ago. Was that Vavra a couple years ago? He had no idea when to send a runner home. Scott Ullger? He waved runners from third to the dugout on several occasions, and once sent another on a highly illegal human organ courier trip to Hong Kong. Riverbrian, glunn and Hosken Bombo Disco 3

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) Do we nick name folk?Would Mr. Gong show be apt for an adept with the hook?I like "Extra E" because of Duffey, which usually has one less e at the end. It also reminds me of line from a urine fetish ad in New York: "The extra E is for extra pee!" Or we could call him Captain Hook or something, true... Dr. Hook? LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 That is correct David. We do shag them sometimes. It can get awful lonely on that god forsaken island. We also eat them, along with penguins. You can only eat so much fish, and the fish of the South Indian Ocean is nothing to write home about.
