Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 This is a perfect example of why spell check is an insidious device. I have let my usual nimble brain atrophy to the point where I can't tell a tasty treat from square miles of finely ground rock! I yearn for the bygone days of yesteryear, when men were men, and women were women, and Bigfoot was Sasquatch, and the Webster was law! .Lol ... the trick I learned in grammar school was the one you want two of is the one with 2 s's. You're welcome. Platoon and Riverbrian 2

Calvin Coolidge on the cooking of his wife, Grace: GRACE'S COOKINGGrace Coolidge did all the cooking and housework in their home. Coolidge used to drop one of her biscuits on the floor and stamp his foot to emphasize the thud. He said they were awful hard. The first time Grace made an apple pie, it came out tough. After she offered it to a couple of her friends, he asked them: "Don't you think the road commissioner would be willing to pay my wife something for her recipe for pie crust?" glunn, Riverbrian, Hosken Bombo Disco and 1 other 4
gil4 Verified Member Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 If the Twins have a second half similar to their excellent 49-40 first half, they will.. finish 98-80.Before the season, most predicting 80 losses would have been considered optimistic. Now it would be a disappointment. Riverbrian 1
