The Twins seventh and eighth inning guys - Boyer and Fien - have combined for 30 strikeouts in 57.2 innings.

 

Ugh. That might be acceptable if Fien was the seventh inning guy and Boyer was a 5th/6th inning guy but that's a dicey set of pitchers to set up Perkins.

 

One can only hope that Meyer will claim the seventh inning (and later, eighth inning) spot before we get to the end of August.
