DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 The bad news is teams have figured out how to beat the Twins: RHP The good news is that's 27% of starters are LHP!!!!!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Man, that's a tough one. It's like you'd be stripping a Samurai of his sword. I need RiverBrian's advice.Dear Riverabby, I frequently photoshop on Twins Daily and I enjoy it. However one moderator who I respect immensely has a problem with any photo of Brian Dozier being photoshopped or anything done to eyeballs. Another moderator who I respect even more is always requesting my uniques photos and it puts me squarely in the middle. What should I do? Sometimes people want you to put the clubs away and that just means it easier to get a tee time for others.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Y2K was really only important to people selling Y2K seminars and mouse pads! It is funny when you think back at how much hand wringing there was as 2000 approached - VCRs won't work -- planes will drop from the skies etc. and then it was a huge non-event. Do some of the more senior posters remember if there was the same hype leading up to Y1K?
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 That was a comically bad play by Torii.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Geez. The Twins are not looking sharp tonight.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 We've become the Sox.I blame the Olsen twins.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Thompson is garbage, send him and duensing packing.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 And now the comedy routine starts. Very disappointed in how the bullpen has performed in recent close games. Last nights game was another that should have been a springboard, but here we are again playing sluggishly.

Do some of the more senior posters remember if there was the same hype leading up to Y1K?Yes, I remember the time the handle on our crank phone broke at home. We had to drive over to the neighbor to let her know we were going to mow lawn, and then go to the store! .
David HK Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Thompson- nice snag. But... OK, if you're a lights-out shut-down reliever, you can wear the ironic mullet. If you can't get guys out, and give up late-inning runs, you need to cut the "party in the back." Even if only to change the mojo...
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 You should ask Chief about Y1K BCI believe the hullaballoo was about 999 BC, not 1000. Changing of the thousands digit, y'know.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 How's that whole leadership thing going tonight for Hunter? Not having cable.....why can't Buxton steal?
hybridbear Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Time to DFA Thompson. There was an awful article in the Star Tribune today trying to absolve him of blame for his recent poor performance.
Platoon Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 This was not the first throw Hunter has made that not only missed a base, it missed the entire infield. This one almost hit a light rail car.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 FTFY"...right then and their" what?
David HK Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 You should ask Chief about Y1K BCI still have some old stone tablets lying around with warning messages on them. We thought there'd be no more flint, hence no more fire. Fire good.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Wheels coming off.Its the only way the White Sox can win. Someone has to out-wheel off them.
