I'm going to a concert at the bank tonight. Holy crap, the wife dolled up, I feel unworthy.

God forbid they would have let Perkins throw more than 15 pitches. Instead we get to toss Boyer the worthless soft tossed out in the 10th to completely blow up and give up 3 runs.

Nice managin Molly

I think the Insurance commercials featuring "Flo" are one of the best series of commercials in TV history.

She's likeable, they're funny, and they keep em fresh.

On the other hand, whoever the lady is on the Toyota commercials is just annoying.

Don't forget the AT&T girl.

The ads all finish with a punchline with no punch.

Oof. Awful tenth inning. Too many missed chances. I was disappointed we didn't bunt with buxton on first in the 8th. Head scratcher.

It is much easier to manage in hindsight. If Molitor left Perk in and he gave up a run that cost us the game I imagine people would blame him for leaving Perk in too long.

I was going to type "unfortunately I feel an 8 run inning coming" but I couldn't type fast enough before the carnage started

Oh well chance to take 2 of 3 tomorrow.

I think if Molitor has any faith in either of his lefties, one of 'em is on the mound to start the 10th, with Rizzo due up second.

This is what happens when the gameday threader changes in the middle of a series.

Not quite quick enough to get the post up under Brian's.

  Excellent insight Captain Hindsight.

I certainly wouldn't. Hopefully this shows them that Boyer isn't the answer.

Especially if Perk was unavailable the next day.

I read that about 8 times before I understood it.

He probably knows that.

His retort would probably be, "who, then?"

We've known the Twins bullpen is soft for about, oh, two and a half months now.

Well this was fun for nine innings. Thanks for letting me crash your party today, all.

I joke about Boyer being my favorite Twin, but seriously, I don't mind seeing him come in. He hasn't been horrible. I certainly wont bitch about him.

There's a Blind Pig down here in Austin, TX too. Been there several times...

I was to the one in Mew Orleans during Mardi Gras, but I don't remember it! :). But if I remember right they served alcohol!

Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how your favorite team is doing, there's always tomorrow.

I've heard tomorrow will come independently of how teams do. At least that's what Annie says.

Who, then?  :)

Boyer is certainly not my favorite relief pitcher, but to further piggy back of Chiefs post, our BP isn't very deep and Boyer represented perhaps the best option at the time. Even in this situation he wasn't terrible, the balls just found the holes. None were all that well hit, two grounders, one dropped on the exchange, one broken bat single and another bloop. Thus is the life of a contact pitcher.

In the bigger picture, I would like if they got better options for the BP but I would not place the blame of this loss on Molitors decision making.

Rosario on the other hand... I can't defend that one.

Our catcher would have picked him off also, I know he would have, at least I am pretty sure he might have, I think!
