. We knew the pitching was going to be a problem, and the fielding. But one thing EVERYONE agreed on: our vaunted offense (7th overall in runs scored) was not going to be a problem! At least our team is consistent. Pitching, defense, and offense. So consistent!

If you don't want Mauer's .375 OBP leading off, and you want someone above .300, Plouffe would be the only other option at .321.

I think that your game setup tonight was one of the top 10 of all time.  I liked the #3 even more than the #5, but both were excellent.

 

Now we just need a run.

  This team got what it wanted, a new stadium. If you think they will ever be competitive again, I think you are in for disappointment. For some reason, Minnesotans are content to rattle around the stadium drinking $8 Grain Belt, watching whatever crap is presented to them.
