sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Hope Garcia is alright. He swung, the ball bounce off home plate, and caught him in the face.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Hawk has a nose that hangs over the inside corner of the plate. Is that ... why ... he's called Hawk? I did not know that. If that's true.

Thegrin Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Well Dick... This has been a tough year for Milone. First he gets sent to AAA despite having a 6-3 record with a 3.55 ERA. Then he gets traded to a losing team far from California. You can take a man from California but you can't take California from the man. Its a tough cultural transition to make. That being said...he should be prepared top pitch one of his Oakland style games tonight.
hawkiconk Provisional Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 So, between Farmer, Hawk, Gladden, dickbert, what would you choose?farmer/gladden would be thee worst radio team in baseball broadcasting history steve stone and bert would be okno smalley
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 farmer/gladden would be thee worst radio team in baseball broadcasting history steve stone and bert would be okno smalleyYes, but of the current options as they are, what do you choose? It's just not a great choice, but I gotta go with dickbert over the others.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 Well, Dick ... Wow
hawkiconk Provisional Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Yes, but of the current options as they are, what do you choose? It's just not a great choice, but I gotta go with dickbert over the others.of those options i gotta go with the big nosed homer
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 of those options i gotta go with the big nosed homerLol. That's what I'm going to call him from now on.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 We'll Dick, Vargas can hit the ball HARD.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Check out this interactive compare mlb salaries graphic thingy. It's fun. For instance, Twins have 22nd highest payroll, but are 25th in number of wins.A's are 26th in payroll, but 2nd in the number of wins. http://graphics.latimes.com/mlb-salaries-2014/#twins-2014:dodgers-2014
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Gladden is almost tolerable as an analyst, the PBP is brutal. Provus is very good, so the Twins radio broadcast is OK five or six innings of the game.
teekz Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Ok. It's official. I'm over Tommy Milone.
hawkiconk Provisional Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Gladden is almost tolerable as an analyst, talk about homers.....
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Ok. It's official. I'm over Tommy Milone. You know teekz, all you have to do is post more (get 300 posts) and then you can: change your own Membership Title.
teekz Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 You know teekz, all you have to do is post more (get 300 posts) and then you can: change your own Membership Title.Nope. It is 250. I can change it now
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Milone looks like a totally different pitcher after he walked Taylor.
teekz Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 That was funny because I was changing my signature at the same time as you replied
Thegrin Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Well Bert...Ft Myers has scored 7 runs and the game is in the 6th inning. Thats right Dick. The problem is that the Miracle pitching has been a little off today and has also allowed 7 runs.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Nope. It is 250. I can change it now Well, congrats!!!
Thegrin Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Well Dick... It looks like they are tied up in the Appy League playoff also. Its tied 4-4 in the 7th.
teekz Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Well, congrats!!!Thanks. Now I have to come up with something to change it to.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Looks like a pitchers duel in Fort Myers, right Chi-Town?
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Well Dick, looks like you shouldn't have excuse Phil so quickly.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Well Dick it looks like Milone is trying to hard.
Platoon Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Well dick, do u think Gardy is gonna use this time to evaluate players, or see that the boys get their performance bonuses and go for that 73rd win? Well Bert, I don't know! Gardy's been in this league a long time, and you won't find another manager who would be better suited to make such a decision. Well Roy, what do yu think? Well guys, I think Arcia needs to stop dropping his hands before he swings! Well Roy, I think u might have mentioned that in his previous 27 PA? Wel that wraps it up for tonight, stay tuned for Gardy's press conference and a replay of Marnies mn lottery winners!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Pretty good bunt (for a hit) there. Bad baserunning however.
hawkiconk Provisional Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 entertaining baseball isn't always good baseball just sayin'
teekz Verified Member Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 That was a bad running error.
