Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 73 runs scored combined in the Tigers series. And we have 4 combined thus far in Kansas City. I gotta ask... Does anyone know a good whiplash lawyer?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 He just said 'Uff'? Not Uff da?He wasn't Norwegian... He wasn't allowed to use the "da" part.
teekz Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Twins keep advertising one between innings...
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Phew. I thought Arcia might get wrapped up like a douche after that grabTrivia: Who wrote the classic "Blinded by the light" made famous by Manfredd Mann".
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 Sigh. I just can't watch anymore.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Are roo bars a real thing? Can we get some rally roo bars in honor of Liam? I hope Mr. Hendriks pitches well. Though i think i also hope we hit him better...An actual thing... I dated a girl from Australia and I remember her saying that American cars looked funny because they didn't have Roo Bars.
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 That does seem to be happening a lot this year Is baserunning Molitor's purview? No, Molitor gets credit for the good base running. It is clearly Gardy's fault when they screw up!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Is someone going to make an awful prediction about now? That sounds precariously close to an awful prediction. So, yes, say i.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Just noticed an odd fact......Mauer has the lowest SLG in the lineup. That is not some cheap shot, just fascinating to me.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Mauer could have thrown him out from left field and preserved the tie
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I'm 100% percent behind leaving Hughes in. We got some big hitters coming up in 9th.
teekz Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Mauer could have thrown him out from left field and preserved the tie Did you watch the one game Mauer played in right?

Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Whats the point of pulling Hughes here? Not a single ball is hit hard, and yet for some reason we need to drop this on him??? I'm not going to lie, thankfully football season is here
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Wow, does this remind anyone of late innings in the Dome?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Bruce Springsteen from the album Greetings From Asbury Park. I believe it was 1973. And I didn't look it up... Thank YouAnd And.... Manfred Mann's Earth Band covered two other songs from that same Springsteen album and had at least minor hits with them... What were the other two songs?
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Duensing has been brutal the last couple weeks.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 The Boss.Common misconception. Actually it was Bruce. My cousin Bruce. We were fishing with my other cousin, Larry (no really), from a gravel road in central Minnesota. Larry 'caught' Bruce in the neck with a Daredevil, and my grandma drove us at just under the speed of sound in her Pontiac (police interceptor version) Tempest to the closest retired country doctor's lake home. Bruce semi-fainted and bonked his head a bit, and we agrees on the way that the light that he saw was significant and should be commemorated, even if everything else he saw seemed like pure rubbish at the time. My panicky Etch-a-sketch recording of his vision is the song classic you know today. Oh, and Bruce survived the Daredevil strike. He owns a bowling alley and is a great dad.
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 If only we had a guy that doesn't throw balls!
alskntwnsfn Verified Member Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Good pitch but guaranteed fastball there. Not well hit but still.
