As a group, I'd probably take their top 3 over anybody else's in mlb. That's what I meant.

 

Only thing they lack is a quality loogy, unless Tim Collins gets back on track quickly. Doesn't really matter with Davis and Herrera though.

If it's any consolation, the story is entirely and verifiably true minus two key points.

 

1)  Thanks to a dreadfully onerous non-disclosure agreement, any serious attempt to rightfully credit my cousin Bruce as even a co-writer of BBTL will result in Columbia Records' privately owned Blackhawks dropping Minigun fire and ex-special forces mercs on casa de Bombo.  They warning-buzzed us tonight, dude.  And yes, the Blackhawk helicopter was... wait for it... black.

 

2)  The Tempest's speedometer topped out at 120.  So even though it seemed we were going 500 miles per hour, we may not have even broken the 300 mph threshold for all I know.  But our aerodynamic shock wave knocked a dude off a moped, that much I'm certain of.

That's what I was thinking the entire time he was mowing the Twins down in the first 6 innings.  I guess when he gets away from 'pitch to contact', he can thrive.  If I had the time and the patience, I'd love to take a look at pitchers who have left the Twins and gone on to success elsewhere because of the different philosophy.
