Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 You know what, Waldo? Don't sweat the walks.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I've been told I have a hard time concealing contempt. That has not gone unnoticed on this board, I reckon. I embrace your contempt.
Twins farm guru Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I love that guy. Maybe hicks should injure his wrist too
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 A player with strength .... its such a novel concept in the Twins system.
ThaBamaHamma Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 That was Sweeeeet! Waldo with a Bomb!
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 A player with strength .... its such a novel concept in the Twins system. Gardy likes to foster inner strength.
Hawkeye12 Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Not bad for starting the inning with two outs and nobody on. Arcia reminds me a lot of Kubel ten years ago. Potential to hit .300, the balls jump off his bat for lots of extra base hits, about the same in the outfield speed and arm-wise, and you know you'll have to see a few clutch strikeouts along the way, but boy when he comes up big with runners on base it's worth it!
Brandon Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Twins up 4 - 0 but with Corriea pitching I am not comfortable with the lead yet. but getting there.
Tibs Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Great pitch by Correia on 0-2. That was clearly strike 3
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I've been told I have a hard time concealing contempt. That has not gone unnoticed on this board, I reckon. They're such idiots that I'm sure it never even registered.
Tibs Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 They're such idiots that I'm sure it never even registered.Yeah! Hey, wait a second...
howeda7 Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Too late. OK, I'm officially on the 'get Meyer up here now' bandwagon.
Hawkeye12 Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 One terrible missed pitch by the umpire, to the biggest villain in the game at that, and now it's turned into a game again. He can hold them the rest of the way though.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Really disheartening .... and SO Kevin Correia.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 It's time to dump Correia and bring in one of the young guns.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 C'mon turn those frowns upside down... Reach down... Start believing... KC will feel the love.
ScottyB Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Isn't this a Marquis-like situation. DFA Correia and bring up May or Johnson (and while we're at it DFA Kubel as well and find a centerfielder so Hicks can get time at AAA).
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Let's so how/if KC can bounce back. 3 runs aren't a killer if he can limit the damage for the next few innings.

I've been warned not to wander around TD in my bathrobe mid-day, setting entire threads on fire, and still get to post. Guessing you're pretty far from any sort of contempt issues. And you have a keen wit, so contempt ===>>> snark, potential issue defused.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Who asked about Correia jinx limit? J/k, it's not your fault the real KC was late to the ballpark. A year late.

DFA Correia and bring up May or Johnson (and while we're at it DFA Kubel as well and find a centerfielder so Hicks can get time at AAA). Not at all like Marquis. Correia has pitched better than Nolasco and probably better than Gibson the last six weeks.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 Here's good, newly discovered example: http://www.slate.com/blogs/bad_astronomy/2014/06/03/mega_earth_the_large_rocky_planet_kepler_10c.html So... I've read it... I'm now under the impression that there is a lot of space in outer space.
TNTwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 How's May doing this evening? May: 6 IP, 3 ER, 2 BB, 9K....
TNTwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 On the hook for the loss but a Quality Start nonetheless.
