Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I just went to check pitch counts before the 6th inning and was disappointed when I saw that Correia was going to be brought out for another inning. That should not have happened. I have seen earlier this year that Hughes and Gibson were cruising through their starts and were taken out after around 90 pitches. I just can't follow the logic when it comes to sending a guy back out for the Twins. It's sporadic at best and it always leaves me second guessing. The 2 starts that Hughes and Gibson pitched were held up by the bullpens I believe, but it still doesn't make sense when put side by side with Correia's outtings... This is why it's so frustrating that they brought back this dinosaur of a manager. New stadium, big deal.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Yeah! like 6000 of them. What would that be in money?Don't know about money, but it'd be about 30 minutes in Vegas for Mrs Chief.
Tibs Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 6 thousand... If he had a nickel for every time he's posted he'd have... A bunch of nickels. 6,000 nickels actually if my math correct
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 No room for Trevor May in this rotation. He's not ready, too many K's and not enough hits against.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Twins up 4 - 0 but with Corriea pitching I am not comfortable with the lead yet. but getting there. You are a prophet.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Boy, I sure don't like that Correia fella.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 And now Caleb pitches 2/3 with 2 Ks no hits or walks just an error behind him and he is replaced.... baffled. Sit back and relax, it's "Everyone gets to pitch night". Roster move to 13 pitchers should be announced sometime tomorrow.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Man that Arcia slam felt good for awhile. I am looking forward to the replay on that. Edit -- just saw the replay -- very nice.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 6,000 nickels actually if my math correct Is that California math tibs?
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 It actually wasn't a bad idea. Once he sees Santana go... It's a pretty good assumption the throw goes to third. It probably would have been a bigger mistake fir Santana to gain third and Dozier staying at first. The Brewers executed... Hats off to them. But there were 2 outs and Arcia coming up. Oops.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Boy, I sure don't like that Correia fella. I'm sure he has many fine qualities. Starting pitcher isn't one of them.
Tibs Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Is that California math tibs? It's the level of math they teach in California, yes.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 No room for Trevor May in this rotation. And somewhere in Uptown, hipsters look on in horror as Nick Nelson falls to the floor, clutching his groin, victim of an invisible blow.
Tibs Verified Member Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Arcia with the Tiger Woods fist pump after that double.

I think he's at the game tonight with his Mom if I remember his tweets right .... maybe she can revive him.
