jorgenswest Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 With the day off yesterday and Thursday the could have skipped Correia's start and put him in the pen. He needs to step up.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 4. National League Baseball -- The Pitcher gets to bat and I love it... Because it's kinda fun when something unexpected happens. Kevin Correia has spent most of his career in the National League and has stepped to the plate 338 times. He has 32 hits and 5 extra base hits (all doubles) and he has struck out 121 times. No need to worry... Kevin Correia is very experienced at the plate. He knows how to walk back to the dugout and has done it a few times. Assuming there were some walks in those plate appearances.... so why on earth hasn't Gardy been using KC to pinch hit for Florimon?
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Ok... I gotta ask again... The difference between Ish and Ick is? Mole on Face is an Ish... An Ick is a ??? Me doing a sasquatch impersonation?

gil4 Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 NL game tonight, nothing says excitement quite like a pitcher bunting in the 2nd or 3rd inning. I did my position/persuasive paper in English 101(about 25 years ago) on why we should keep the DH. The feeble attempts to hit or bunt by the pitchers were reason #1. If I wanted to watch that, I'd save the ticket price and go to a jr. high game instead.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Me doing a sasquatch impersonation? That's neither an ick nor an ish. It's an eye-stabbing moment.
gil4 Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Btw, if you google 'Steve Trachsel' and the letter 'h', the first autofill is "human rain delay". Should've been in the rotation with Spahn and Sain.

I didn't know I had options and I took everything literal in those days.

Tibs Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Did Dick just say Correia was twerking on the mound last year? I must have missed that.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Look at Kevin charge out of the gate Has he lost weight? Cap mechanics have definitely taken a step forward: http://extras.mnginteractive.com/live/media/site569/2011/0308/20110308_091454_kevinSlowey_300.jpg
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Correia already exceeds his number of swings and misses and Ks from his last start.
