FWIW, I'm watching the Padres b'cast and they were all astonished Gardy didn't walk Grandal with first base open and the pitcher due up. The on-field-reporter-guy even went so far as to half seriously speculate maybe Gardy forgot this is a NL game.

I'm watching the Padres broadcast as well, their announcers are good and there is some fancy camera work going on.
