I finally figured out how come no one volunteered for this here game thread...

 

It conflicts with the Twins Daily Pub Crawl. Well, conflicts is perhaps the wrong word. It is one thing more to pay attention to, and when one tends to travel light on such endeavors. ya don't wear a Duluth pack on a marathon. Or schedule a job review, for that matter.

 

So in honour... er, to commemorate... rather to commiserate with those on this trail of beers for the season, my theme would be crawling.

You gotta crawl before you can run. Not exactly true in the specific, as i have heard of more creative ways of self-propelling, but works as a generalizing before toddling benchmark has been achieved. We got a whole host of young players. Who do you like seeing get their feet under them at the majors?

 

2. "Four legs good, Two legs bad." -Animal Farm

 

Problems tend to snowball, and we are looking at a change of leadership with the departure of Terry Ryan. I haven't been paying any attention to the transition, although i did notice an article saying that they had a finite (5?) set of candidates to replace him. Is there hope?

 

3. On the Tree.

 

Traffic sometimes crawls, forcing cars into low gear. Which seems to be how the Twins are finishing the season. Which players and prospects have the power to be valuable in low gear? We might have a few, or so i am lead to believe.

 

4 Better or worse.

 

A comic strip, and not bad at that. I like Cul de Sac, myself, which has the Ut Oh baby of doom. But i am happy reading the comics. The internet though means i kind binge on

one at a time. You all got an favorite strip?

But... stairs aren't made for crawling. We gotta learn to stand eventually. But i suppose i can stand not standing for a little longer, if ya understand me.
