Twenty years ago the talking heads would be saying he 'knows how to win', and then in the following season, when his ERA improves to the low 4's but his winning percentage declines, he has... forgotten how to win, I guess?

 

Professional baseball without statistics is the irrational constantly waiting for its chance to happen.

 

So The Run for One Hun is still alive, but postponed til tomorrow when it can shatter the dreams of more children in the stands than it would have tonight.

 

PS Despite the negativity I'm glad the Twins won and Duffey pitched well. The End.

I'm delighted to be wrong on both counts; not loss 100 and did not get rained on.

 

Whoever threw the hat out on Kepler's ball was really bush.
