    I can't see Pittsburgh moving him already. This is his first year of arbitration so it's not going to be that expensive for them.

    How about to start thinking about the budget if the sign our core players to long term deals and have a couple of bad contracts to deal with as well. It's not about being cheap. Think about extensions for Berrios, Buxton, Garver, Rogers, & possibly Arraez for starters. Yes, the Pohlad's are being cheap having a 130M budget. They could easily raise it up to 175M without blinking and still clear over 50M+ a year. There is nothing saying they can't use the money they have left in budget for a trade either now or in July.

    Whatever. I guess i'm the only one that doesn't want to get burned on long term deals that will be hard to swallow in the last 2+ years. The Hill signing could turn out to be a steal. I would have rather brought in Wood over Bailey.

    They are not signed to 4 year deals so the Twins did sign the better pair.

    They should have got Glen Taylor to negotiate the contract for Rich Hill. Slip him some cash under the table and sign him in Spring Training and then put him right on the 60 day IL so they could bring in another body for the 40 man roster.

    They have to wait for the season to start to place Hill on the 60 day IL. So they can't free up a roster spot until then.

    I would be fine with a trade for Price but Boston would have to eat a ton of the remaining contract. I would be fine if they ate a little over $50M so it would end up being like a 3 year $40M deal for the Twins.

    All i can say is 4 years is too much for Ryu and hope he has fun pitching in that division. Balls have a tendency to fly out of all those parks.

    Pass on both. I would rather make a deal with Pittsburgh for either Archer or Musgrove. More years of team control and probably better than the 2 mentioned.

    Cameron Maybin would be a great 4th outfielder and cheap as well. Now if they could find a trade partner for Cave it would be even better.

    Would have liked to see either Steve Cishek, Will Harris, Daniel Hudson, or Brandon Kintzler. Simply it came down to money of course. Next let's bring back Pat Neshek on a minor league deal.

    I hate to say players like Arraez don't show up that often for any team. There is also nothing saying that Arraez will be able to maintain what he has done so far. It's going to be a race to see if Arraez can continue to stay 1 step ahead of the opposing pitchers.
