NO way in the world Gray comes back next year....He cant get away from this manager fast enough.......should have traded him at all star break for some young lottery tickets. Twins are NOT going anywhere in the playoffs and Grays gone 100% for sure. He's missed out on about 10 wins in his time here with Baldellis game plans and our failures in the pen.

The Twins way of using 4 relievers at a MIN every stinking game has me at wits end. The pen is NOT good enough to continue shoving 4 guys a night out in relief without one of them having a off night.. I swear to god Baldelli has ZERO feel for the game. Gallo still being on the roster is simply horrible. Seems as if every decision Baldelli has been wrong lately. As amazing as Correas relay was , he still had one of the worst ab's I have EVER seen last night.

Sonny Gray and the Pursuit of a Cy Young
HoskenPowell replied to Ted Schwerzler 's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
If the other top 5 candidates all fall on their faces and Gray runs off 5/6 straight wins with a shutout complete game vs a top tier team ( not the Royals/white sox or A's) , then he has a chance. until then the only Twins player who will win ANYTHNG is Joey Gallo as the strikeout king.- 23 replies

Take two double plays and a couple very , very hard hit outs away from Dallas' first start and it would be a bad as last night. He's toast. Get him off the roster today. Ridiculous.

3 Trades the Twins Must Make Today
HoskenPowell replied to Jamie Cameron's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
Every other team in cental is dumping players and conceeding. And yet the Twins still look they cannot hold on and win this pathetic division. Clap for Falvey and his wonderful team he constructed. Barley .500 in the worst , sinking division in all of baseball. This isn't Falveys 1st try....How many more years does he get?????? He took the top spot after 2016......MORE than enough time to construct more than this. Bomba squad was a fluke , everything else has been bad. He's had his time. Time to fire him and fire Rocco as well.........Castros out at 3b the other day was as bad as anything even airhead Eddie Rosario ever did , yet no benching. I gave up on Rocco long ago and he's not proven me wrong since. Unless Falvey can trade Pagan and Gallo for Ohtani and Ocuna he needs to go. -
2nd worst team in all of baseball.............Twinkies must be so proud of their lead in this total crap division. Why is Gallo on team yet??? Oh , that' right..........see Pagan...............dream team cannot admit failure.

I know Gallo is LH and was expected to strike out a lot. But 2/3 of the time is ridiculous.

Looks like Lopez is the only one with a chance in you know what using the stats you present. How in the world is the MULTIPLE???????? No Twins player deserves a gold glove , much like no Twins player deserved to called a all star. Now if they just would put Buxton on the dl and put a end to a years worth of excuses. Either he's healthy or he's on the DL. How many 1 for 30 plus ab's do the fans need to endure?????? His benching has been a bright spot this week.

Mariners 7, Twins 6: Sonny Gray Boils Down
HoskenPowell replied to Ted Schwerzler 's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
The front office has had enough time to build a team. They have built a .500 team. Why would anyone go to the park and spend $100 a head to watch this level of play?????- 65 replies

Which Twins Left-Handed Outfielder Should Go?
HoskenPowell replied to Cody Pirkl's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
Wallner should have been up a month ago. Signing Gallo was a mistake , so Twins front office will keep him to save face ( see Pagan trade) so expect Kepler to be released/traded within 10 days. -
Ted Williams impression???? Ted could and DID hit for power. Arraez could play for 30 years and he will end up 400 hr's behind Ted. LIFETIME .344 hitter. Arraez has YET to hit over 344 in a year yet. It's a long season and odds are he slows way down in the dog days of summer with his balky knees.

How Invested Are You in the 2023 Twins season?
HoskenPowell replied to Vanimal46's topic in Minnesota Twins Talk
Less and less each year. I cannot stand Baldelli. Correa and Buxton have been a total disaster. Gallo/Kepler/Pagan and Miranda have been terrible. Like the starting rotation. Like Castros baserunning. Other than that they are almost unwatchable. 10 plus strikeouts each and every game 1 or two walks . Manager / hitting coach and FO should be removed asap. No one , and I mean no one in the central deserves to be in the playoffs. -
It's not even the worst by the brain trust in last 12 months or even 2nd worst. Jesus H Christ did you want them to run Chris Archer ( or Bunde ) out there 20 times again this year????? Mahle trade far worse.......Paddock trade far worse.....SInging Correa was much more worse as well. Odds are very , VERY much against Arraez hitting 400......1941 is the last time......1941 , so the odds are you will win the lottery b4 Arraez hits 400 , or any one else for that matter. Theres lots of life left in this trade yet....the minor leaguer we got may amount to something..Arraez could end up hitting 320 not 400 , with little power and zero speed. His average at best defense may turn south with his knees .....Lopez may reel off 5/6 wins in a row. WE don't know yet. If Kepler/Gallo/Pagan or Correa had done something by now no one would need to worry about the Arraez trade. Lopez is MILES better than what we ran out tot he bump last year. Archer and Bunde were unwatchable.

Can the Twins Get Better at the Deadline?
HoskenPowell replied to Ted Schwerzler 's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
Baseball fans knew Gallo was gonna be nothing but strikeouts and Hr's , but we also thought of his gold glove OF work. Well we got the hr's and k's for sure. But we have not seen anything of a gold glove guy. Kepler has been bad for 3 years running. I've never thought Larnach was anything too hot personally , many will argue that. Any of those 3 could be traded in my opinion. But the return will be low on Kep/Gallo. Cruz for Ryan was fantastic. But after that the brain trusts trades have been pretty pathetic. Broken arms in Paddack and Mahle and losing Steer and others along with Taylor and Rook for the pathetic display Pagan has gave us. Not sure I trust them in trades.- 53 replies

K's keep piling up for the Twins without many walks......Has a team ever averages 11 k while taking a only couple walks?? Good to see Wallner just keep raking in spite of laughably not being called up to take Keplers place.

Twins Keeping Kepler in Lineup ‘Just to Spite Gleeman’ at This Point
HoskenPowell commented on RandBalls Stu's article in Just For Fun
When the Twins lose the central by 4 games it will fall on the front offices head's. Keeping Kepler and Pagan around has cost them at LEAST 4 games already.
