  1. Yes! But not as jealous as I'd have been if this journey had started, lets say....middle of May. My goodness! The late fall, early winter, football gear must have been in play with the temps the Twins have played in to this point!
  2. Twins have played pretty poorly across the board the last two games. Time to turn that around.
  3. The offense wins a game where the pitching and defense were very sketchy. I guess that’s ok every now and then.
  4. 2 run lead, 2 out nobody on in the 9th…eats Perez alive with a 98 mph fastball for strike 2. Calls a breaking pitch...which splits the plate in half. 😶 Proceeds to do the exact thing with the next batter. A legion catcher would catch an earful for how Vazquez called that inning.
  5. Hey fastballs!! Tough inning for Vazquez as much as anything. Made it MUCH more difficult than it needed to be.
  6. How many times is the 2 strike pitch going to be off speed over the middle of the plate?
  7. Ball four…the horse shoe remains firmly wedged up Rocco’s… sleeve.
  8. Rather than bring Lopez in for 4 outs…has Theilbar put the tying run on base. These are the head scratchers with Rocco IMO.
  9. Situation screemed SB attempt by Buxton there. So, never.
  10. Funny thing happened on the way to the route.
  11. Pretty sure the brain cramp was on the SS…nobody was covering 2nd. I wouldn’t think Taylor would attempt that if he or the base coach didn’t see that the base was uncovered. Could be wrong since I’ve only seen the replay as well.
  12. Well, it's likely he's gone after 2024, at the latest, right? So...what's the earliest he would be gone? Trade deadline 2023. So, we're talking less than a season and a half of 'wondering when'? Not that unusual, I don't think. For 2023, Kirilloff might not turn out (or hold up)...Gallo could turn back into 2022 Gallo...and or Larnach could hit a wall. (Larnach is not without his own offensive issues...and more obvious defensive issues). As long at the Twins are competing and not POSITIVE of both Gallo and Kirilloff, Kepler stays. For 2024...even if Kirilloff works out, there's a very good chance Gallo is gone or not good...one or the other. So...
  13. Ricardo Olivar: Catcher, Centerfielder Now, there’s something you don’t see every day.
  14. SUPPOSEDLY, the sweeper is thrown in a way that makes more horizontal break relative to vertical break when compared to a slider
  15. The Royals have the cure for what ails Moran.
  16. If they do, they should follow it up with Methane Night.
  17. Broadcasts saying anything regarding Mahle leaving?
  18. I see what you did there! It’s not necessarily Ober for Maeda…and it’s not necessarily over for Maeda. https://youtube.com/watch?v=y3oiPbNfw98&feature=share
  19. I'm guessing Buxton leading off and both Gallo and Kepler in the back half of the order will NOT be a trend against righties...but is, instead, a response to the extreme off-speed repertoire of Greinke....kind of a reverse-split thing. But, maybe I'm wrong
  20. Current odds of the Twins winning 4 games in a row against an average team: 10% Current odds of the Royals losing 4 games in a row to an average team: 33% Let's just win A game...and go from there.
  21. There’s the bat-to-ball skill, and there’s the power skill/tool. I assume the first will be there sooner or later. I worry about the power (at the major league level and in major league parks). It will be there if he can cut loose on a daily basis. But that still seems like a big if. I certainly hope so. He’s been a really low BB% guy, which limits the OBP. He needs to provide SLG to be a needle-mover, IMO.
  22. Current Saints that played for the Red Wings…(only looking at Saints roster not at BB Refernce, etc) D Rodriguez Contreras Alcala Dobnack Megill LaMarre … I got the easy ones...someone else is going to need to bring it home (4 to go)...
  23. We're golden if Gallo stays where he is K-wise over the course of the year (30%). Can kinda be a story of 'be careful what you wish for' though. The guys with the lowest K-rate on the twins... Gordon (by a mile); then Kepler (also very low); and Correa and Miranda have also been among the lower K guys on the team.
  24. Gallo with better HR and OPS numbers than Aaron Judge and Yordan Alverez. I know that won't hold up...but, what if it does? 🤩 (Gallo with only the 7th-highest K% on the club, as well...which seems astounding.) Rocco's dilemma:...continue to 'shield' him in the bottom of the order...or move him up to get him more PA.
