Team has a worse winning percentage this year than they did last year after the fire sale. Worst team in the AL since August 1.

Go Twins!

If this isn't the end of the Zoll regime and the entire minor league developmental staff what is it going to take.

new ownership

The ownership has nothing to do with roster construction or player development.  What they can do is hire someone that is experienced and can put together a baseball operations staff that knows how to build a sustainable winning team.

And Zoll was a major contributor to a staff that has been unsuccessful in this for the last 10 years.  And many of his decisions this year leave most reasonable people questioning these decisions.

That just means the Pohlads have been unsuccessful in many of THEIR own decisions too

That means they hired Falvey to do a job and probably gave him too long of a leash because he didn't get the job done.  And then they promoted his #2 because they didn't their ownership issues resolved last fall, which is definitely on them.

So what decisions have they made that had an impact on the product on the field.  What player did they sign or not sign, what directive did they give in regards to player development.

I am not necessarily a fan of the Pohlads but until Joe took over they have been primarily hands off owners.

Larnach going on the IL. Had a feeling this was coming reading between the lines and seeing his wrist taped up the other day.

So long, pal. Hard to see him coming back next year.

Roden back up.

So how many AB's does take Roden take from ERod and Jenkins.

Standings Watch: The Twins' magic number to get eliminated is three. Any combination of Twins losses and White Sox/Guardians wins that adds up to that total will end our playoff hopes...

Meaningful on 9/18. I love this game.

And truthfully we have a lineup featuring four (hopefully)  Core Pieces for the next five years plus. Keaschall, Jenkins, Rodriguez, Lee. If Culpeper wasn't hurt he'd be out there too. I know the pace is glacial.. but the turnover is well underway.

All this and no Jackson too.

The logical conclusion to this thought process is we find the Ark of the Covenant and the Twins just need to bring it to every game and they'll win!

Go Twins!

And the twins bought at the deadline , if the twins didn’t have bad luck they wouldn’t have any luck at all …

seriously , the plan to buy was okay but they should have sold too …

their thought process was they didn’t want to alienate their fans any more than they already did , so they pretended that we were contenders and rightfully so , possible contenders in a very miserable American League central division , but not serious contenders in the playoffs …

if they would listen more carefully to the fans , WE WANT SOME KIND OF A STRONGER COMPETITIVE PLAN , end of story pohlads …

Buxton surgery today included labral repair.

Lucas Seehafer:

Cam resection addressed the hip impingement. Labral repair is the big thing here. Better to have the repair for long-term. Will likely lengthen the recovery timeline. Previous studies have put return from labral repair at 6+ months.
