Little disappointed in Shelton tonight. Should have pulled Priellip after he walked the bases loaded. He Conner still a rookie. He looked like he lost it when he walked three straight guys. I know he wanted him to work out of it but the game was still competitive at that point. Should have went to the pen with Nance or Morris.

There has been nothing remotely encouraging about recent Twins play....

..except that we are only a half game out from the last playoff spot.

Depending who we play, maybe that's not so tall an order? We might even be helping ourselves by defeating rivals...

Yeah... only 3 of 12 series are against teams with down and out records: Angels, A's and Giants (California teams who don't dodge)

That said, we have a long stretch against the central, and if we clean house there, we'll be okay.
