Hey, stop me if you've heard this one before: We need to win this game! Really though, would be very difficult to be 4 games under .500 heading into 6 games against Philly/Atlanta and feel good about our chances.

It doesn’t get any better after that. Next series Padres, Tigers x2, White Sox x2, Yankees, Guardians.

You call up Culpepper, you play him every day.  This isn't a shot on Kreidler but he is not a guy who should be getting AB's over a top prospect.  Culpepper looked better at the plate last night, yes some rough moments but this is the learning curve you go thru.  Hey he got a SF with the bases loaded, how many times has that happened this year.

The Twins refuse to develop their prospects, they don't  call them up until they have to, they are never proactive.  Instead they keep playing fringe guys who should maybe even be in the league.  I realize there are many factors involved in the decision of bringing guys up, but the Twins are constantly ultra conservative.  And typically the guys they are playing ahead of these prospects are either vets on a one year deal or a AAAA guy.  Currently they are keeping a journeyman catcher in Jackson on the roster and playing Roden who is very much sliding into AAAA player territory instead of calling up Jenkins.  It just makes no sense.

This has been going on for 10 years and what kind of results has it produced, one wild card win, that is the most important stat.  This team needs new leadership in the worst way.

Larnach leading off again.. it's just not working. This is not a very athletic lineup. There's always the capacity to surprise.. win the series?! Sure let's do that. Zebby your foot will last longer if you don't have 30 pitch innings ☝️

Last call for Alan Roden? Be like Austin Martin on Monday and prove us all wrong today, bud.

Austin who? Oh yeah, the guy who carried us to our last win.

looking at R.B.I.  RODEN HAS 9---- , been watching b-ball  60+years and seeing a # 8 hitter with bases loaded twice in the 1st 3 innings and of course FAIL , gotta be some kind of record -- hard to do !!!!!    Shelton started out as Shelton , but now -Rocco #2    sad !!

I said it yesterday and I will say it again, I think this shows the front office analytic staff has input into the lineups and probably more than we realize.

Better not call for replacing Roden, look how effective he is, he has 9 RBI's.

7-8-9 in lineup is not murderous row from back in the day but more like murdered row. Rotten, I mean Roden getting time is quite laughable, 3 games under .500 rest of month could be double digits under but we will run same not future guys into lineup.

Mgmt missed the boat on getting some prospects back for Jeffers, Larnach and others at deadline. QO to Jeffers means you potentially get a draft pick you develop for 4-6 years vs maybe a couple guys ready this year next year. Hoping to compete in crappy central division is not a strategy when you didn’t address offense

Martin should play over Roden. Roden isn't it in the outfield. Slow, reactions, doesn't get good reads on  the baseball in the field. Not a fan of his bat either.

Let's just re-sign Manny Margot and we can PH him any time we get a similar situation Roden faced.

if that were true ?  Why in St Paul  do they not follow course ?  last nights Saints game  L.H. Pitcher for Iowa  and 3 of the 1st 4 batters were l.h. ,  You can say they want there higher projected players up top -  which i agree with  but then why not with the Twins and there Pitching program in st paul which is a joke , all they talk about is stretching players out and they never even go 5 innings.  WHOLE ORGANIZATION SHOWS ZERO PLAN !!!!!!!!!!!

I think the objective in St. Paul is more about playing time for the top prospects.  But I do absolutely agree they have no plan.

This is why I will continue to bang the drum that either Zoll has to go or they need someone over him that can set this organization on a path.  This lineup is very indicative of no plan, they say they are contenders, they sit Culpepper after playing two days for Kreidler and Roden continues to be in this lineup.  And how long was Gray up here.  I am not sure anyone can defend this organization and say they have a plan.

But remember we traded for him so he must be good and 200 AB's is not enough, we should give him a full season.

Excited to be able to see an angel in the infield today! And Royce hitting second - I think that's a much better spot with how he's been hitting!

I needed two emojis for this one.

Yes fellas... the Twins have no plan. Just flying by the seat of their pants, day to day. Think about how little sense that makes.

Just because you can't see the plan, aren't being told the plan, or disagree with the plan, doesn't mean there isn't a plan.

We don't need to know the details, but the last few years is the first time in my many years of following the team that I can't see any outline of a plan.  If they have one it sure ain't working.
