If Luke were three years older and not homegrown talent he'd be getting the Tristan Gray treatment from forum fans.

Isn’t he almost 40 by now, after all those horrible years in the lower minors? 😇

Well if he is almost 40 then Culpepper is almost 35.👽

So is the solution never bring anyone up from St. Paul again.  Keep playing AAAA players and past their prime vets like Bell and Caratini.  At some point you have to promote if the players are earning and there are a few that are earning a shot based on what is in front of them.

Especially if there’s a spot for them to play We currently have 3, maybe 4 underperforming 30 y.o. plus utility players that could be swapped out.

I mean three extra years in the big leagues should shorten the leash a bit, no ?

Switching the broadcast to the saints game is quite a ballsy move by the twins 😂

i usually have 2  games on  Saints and Twins .   Saints are the better team as far as  hitting and its not even close

A spot to play, or a spot to show they are not ready for the Bigs?

If the Twins are as not good as they were last Sept. a whole flock of AAA boys may make their debut this year.

Lob a ball and stand there and not swing ,   he is the one of a couple Twins that was always  looking like he was giving it his all ,    is it Contagious , ??

Personally, fwiw, I think they should bring them up way before they do, instead of when they ar 25 or so. But SNAFU. This team is such a mess now that I have little hope that will work for us, either.

Anyone else been to this ballpark in Toledo? I was there for 5 minutes once picking up the backup league championship trophy after the current trophy (which the team I worked for held) was smashed by an irate fan. True story

Preferably sooner than later, but at some point, they need to start thinking about the future and move on from this group of post hype prospects.

AAA pitching. Lewis showed it is not that challenging.

AAA glove work is just a difficult as Major League, and how they do there counts as right now the Twins fielding is at AA level.

I don't totally disagree, I think they have always been slow on bringing up players.  In Sabato's case he might be a late bloomer, why not find out.  Do you really think Bell is all of a sudden going to be an all star or perform anywhere close to that level.

You try so hard, but I am sure Keaschall hitting into a double play after Gray's single makes you feel better.

Are you even watching the game, Larnach is the one who hit into a double play.

That is kind of the point, Luke doesn't have near the experience and is still learning.  Not everyone comes a polished product.

Culpepper with a single, triple, two RBI's and a stolen base.  But hey we get Tristan Gray, that is why we buy tickets.

Sure.  Why would one pay to watch Culpepper when you could watch Gray instead?

Who scores more today? The Twins or Team USA?

Tied up in that matchup 1-1 Twins vs. Team USA. If it's not the Twins winning we've got some real problems.

I have actually been to a game there, not a bad park.  It doesn't stand out in my mind, but it was a nice experience.
