Actually on the Rojas injury also.  Guess he'll be going on the IL unless they think we have roster space to burn.

I didn't even bother to turn this game on.

Seriously, what is interesting or exciting about this team if their SP is no good?  Their lineup is moribund, their D is spiteful, and they are OLD.

Once again, I renew my plea to bring up young players and let them see if they sink or swim in the majors.  Otherwise, there is nothing to see here.

I was just chastised by another poster for saying they are old and the defense is bad .... So thanks! They have two young hitters on the roster. Zero rookies. That's not going to work for a mid market team, ever. They are getting no one ready for next year, so they'll sign more awful old players again unless they start changing their approach to development.

All on S.I.M.  =   AGAIN  We need our starters to at least go 6-7  this weekend

He pitched on Monday.  It was a last minute substitution that had him called on at all.

The outing today was subpar, but even in the best case 6 innings would be fantasy.

The Twins shouldn't, and won't, simply release SWR, but some serious work needs to be done a.s.a.p. to make him rotation worthy again. For starters (n.p.i.) he needs the confidence to control the zone...too many nibbling balls and just plain non-competitive pitches of late!

As opposed to watching the aging vets and AAAA guys flail away.  At least there could be some upside with the kids, there is none to this roster as constructed.

Blankenhorn? The dude only got 4 PAs in the majors as a Twin, how on earth is that an example of "giving prospects too much rope"?!

He was here, which is what some here want SO badly, bring them up with such a loathing of vets. that they do not care if they fail

He was given 3 PAs and hit a double in one of them, and then sent back down to the minors, he wasn't given a real chance like others mentioned. He has legitimately nothing to do with your point about Wallner and Lewis vs "vets we shouldn't give up on".

You have your opinion and I have mine.
