I can see the 4K performance combined with a bad ABS challenge as being Wallner-esque and possibly the final straw that he has to go.  Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.  Gabby was called up while Gray was on the paternity list so he should be available for recall right away without the traditional waiting period?  The Saints are playing in Louisville so it's not that far of a drive or flight to Chicago.  Gabby could play RF and Martin or Kriedler in CF.  I guess playing Clemens in CF is desperation to get more LF/Switch bats in the lineup.  Seems crazy with going from too many LH batters to not enough.

The Skor North Twins Show made a report today that Buxton has not been cleared to play CF yet.  I'm not sure how his hips work for hitting the ball, but not for playing CF since the amount of stress you put on your hips swinging a bat or running the bases.  That is for someone with more medical knowledge than I.  They also speculated the reason Outman is still on the team is "chemistry" when talking to Shelton about it.  Think Kyle Farmer.  All discussion concerning Outman is about how great of a teammate he is and very little about his actual play on the field.

Why are either Kreidler or Outman on this roster.  If they aren't going to playing them tonight in front of Clemens or Gray, they need to be gone.  Everyone on here is saying Kreidler plays elite defense, someone may want to inform the Twins because Gray is that not strong of a SS.  Get players up here that least you are going to play, playing short handed is shooting yourself in the foot.

One other rant, the Twins literally have no starters down in AAA, they are bulk guys at this point.  If you are going to move guys around in the rotation, you need to start developing some starters in AAA that are ready to come up and contribute.

I don't specifically have an issue with role players as well.  The Twins had Billy Hamilton for half a season in 2022.  Willians Astudillo for four seasons.  Even Kyle Farmer gave a small pork processing plant in Mandan, ND named Cloverdale Meats some breath for a couple months.  They still need to be a glue piece that can help the team on some way, shape, or form.  I'm not sure where Outman is helping the team over anyone else that could be called up or shifted to replace him, even if he is a great teammate.

This comparison is for 2026.  For reference, McCutchen was just DFA'd by the Rangers.  Although he hasn't played CF this year, I bet he still could in a pinch and would be a better crafty veteran holding a spot for the younger guys than Outman.

Isn't he currently on the team as an outfield instructor.  If we are going down that rabbit hole, we can try to give Grady Sizemore a glove.  He already has the uniform.

It is also shows their confidence in Martin or Keaschall to play CF. They both have at least some experience there. Clemens could easily fire at 2B or RF. It also shows some amount of confidence in Clemens and his athletic ability. He might not need that much time before he is playing CF adequately. I expect some mistakes early and absolutely no patience from some fans.

You forgot about Kreidler, he was playing there in spring training.  Why is he on the roster as well as Outman.

Don’t know if anyone saw the replay view of Lee’s double last night from behind the 3rd base coach. Buxton was an absolute blur around 2nd and 3rd. And then literally skipped and danced his way past the dugout.

And yet he can’t play CF? Things that drive me crazy. Couldn’t care less about “playing it safe”. From what? We’ve seen time and again there’s about 20 ways he can get injured beyond plays in CF. Please just put the best lineup on the field and in the batting order.

I think Clemens is in CF because they want LH bats in the lineup and they want to entrench Martin in RF. This is the latest in roster shuffling to improve the defense for the season. Martin is the everyday RF going forward and they want him to log some innings there while Larnach plays LF. IF, and its a big IF, Wallner comes back he's a DH only. Buck is the regular CF and they're seeing if Clemens can be a backup there in addition to Kreidler. 

I expect the next few weeks to play out with Lewis eventually back and Gray gone, Arcia and Kreidler at SS with Kreidler and Clemens the backup CF. IF they come back, Lewis is a DH/1B, Wallner is a DH. Outman goes when either GG or Culpepper is ready to come up. Bell is traded to create ABs for Lewis and/or Wallner if they show they deserve them.
