Chris Hove Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 3 Posted May 3 (edited) Hmmmm, Austin Martin came in with a team leading .915 OPS. Now today, he's on base twice in two PA's. Does that sound like a guy we should keep platoonihg? Edited May 3 by Chris Hove Western SD Fan, Patzky, Parfigliano and 3 others 6

Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Unfortunate bounce for the ground rule double. Martin would have scored. Church of Kreidler 1

AceWrigley Verified Member Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Wallner improving, that popout made it to the outfield.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 3 Posted May 3 from watching Morris today - i would rather see him START the next 1-2 spots in Ryans place, cant be any worse than S.W.R. 4 inning -4 run outings, maybe not coming in the 5th and 6th takes Pressure off , he looks good and has good pitch movement , Western SD Fan and Church of Kreidler 2

I think that would mean that we would need to see Morris come out for one more inning. He's at 57 pitches so that would be possible. Given the fact that 2 of the next 3 batters are lefites makes me think it's Taylor Rogers time. EDIT: That would also open up a bullpen spot for the Twins to sign Kahnle from the Red Sox for some bullpen help.
