Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Already 3 appearances for Funderburk in 4 games, obviously a small sample size but you know you have a bad bullpen if he's the guy they're going to use the most. 1 minute ago, Vanimal46 said: I’ve got nothing when it comes to young relievers. They should be up here now. As far as Walker Jenkins/E-Rod/Culpepper are concerned, it’s absolutely about service time. I don’t know when the exact date is, usually late April, they can get called up and have their 7th year of control secured. They don't really have any young relievers ready at AAA, Raya has been a mess for a while and needs more time and I don't know what Klein's status is, the rest are hurt. The bats at AAA could definitely help, or at worst would start taking their lumps in the majors now rather than later. But they love to delay that to later on the regular. USAFChief 1

bunsen82 Verified Member Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Larnach should have hit for Royce - all or nothing. All Martin has done is get on base, so you take him out. What the heck are we doing? Danchat, RpR, thelanges5 and 1 other 4

Concur...what "young relievers?" Not excited about the bats, either, except maybe Jenkins, but I'd rather watch them than tbis dreck. IndyTwinsFan 1

Is it service time/money? Experience? Bc this is ugliness and totally off putting as a looonnngg term fan. spot on -- i would drop Larnach -Clemens - outman- then send Lee to st paul keep Grey as backup and bring up Jenkins- Culpepper and maybe 2 others , Saints top 5 are just as good or better than the Twins bottom 4-5 , who cares if they look ?? anything is better than this crap, same with the bullpen keep rotating as needed, , im more into watching the Saints than the Twins - being Honest IndyTwinsFan, Peter and RpR 2 1

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Even Roden - he is looking better than outman -larnach -Clemens , but he has a option so that tells ya - they dont care about winning or developing IndyTwinsFan and Danchat 2
Peter Verified Member Posted March 30 Posted March 30 4 games in 1-3 record this already feels like it’s a wasted season-something needs to change!!!
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Best thing that could happen is Saints getting more attendance than the Twins in there smaller park , hope it happens

Looks like Klein is being used as a long reliever, as he pitched 2 1/3 inning in relief. I'd just move him to full-time one inning relieving. Vanimal46 1
