Over The Hill Again Verified Member Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Twins last 5 innings: 0-15, 2 BB. No runs. Feels like last season when there were long stretches of zero offense against mediocre pitching. IndyTwinsFan and Patzky 2

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Now we gotta score THREE to win? We don’t even have that many hits Peter 1
The Great Hambino Verified Member Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Was just about to say it was nice to see a reliever go for more than an inning ... that'll show me IndyTwinsFan 1
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Now the game is over. Virtually no chance we score at least 2 more runs today.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I don’t know the ins and outs of why guys are called up or not, can any of you more knowledgeable posters explain why we wouldn’t just have the younger guys start in MLB instead of whatever you’d call this mishmash of slop? Is it service time/money? Experience? Bc this is ugliness and totally off putting as a looonnngg term fan. IndyTwinsFan, Hubie29 and Danchat 3

I can't see the front office letting this go on for too long. They will have to bring up the kids that are ready or they will lose the entire fan base. I am a huge baseball and Twins fan and haven't even turned the game on today. IndyTwinsFan 1

As far as Walker Jenkins/E-Rod/Culpepper are concerned, it’s absolutely about service time. I don’t know when the exact date is, usually late April, they can get called up and have their 7th year of control secured. Aggies7 1
