Been a good close game , the Phillies were gifted a run with that error by pitcher,  but dodgers actually were gifted a run with that strike 3 caIl missed ending in a walk to kiki ...

They just had a meeting on the mound and only needed 1 out , what do you think they discussed , get the out at any base bit I don't think home plate was included ...

Tragic loss for the Phillies  , good pitched game until the later innings , I was hoping our ex twins would be the difference maker ...

Loud crowd, no infield chatter. Did Realmuto point to first base? Total brain freeze because he had the ball with more than adequate time to throw to first base. 

Phillies had a ton of poor plate appearances. Tough loss all around.

Maybe they need to implement rules that 11 year olds have. A player yelling in the moment “2 outs! Play at 1!”

Actually, even in MLB there is quite a bit of chatter. This situation it is too loud so pointing is common, hand signals. Just a very poor way to end a really good game and the series to boot.

Sure but that shows how unprepared that pitcher was in the moment. Did he forget there were 2 outs?

Probably couldn’t hear it in this situation. Players in MLB have no excuse. They have been playing for at least 10 years on the way to the show. It really is on the players, I think.

The Phillies pitcher obviously panicked but he never should have looked towards home plate. There were 2 effing outs! The only direction he should have looked at is 1B
