I agree.  I don't see the Yankees as a playoff team.  They seem to be closer to the 2024 version of the Twins.  Hot start and a slow decent into madness.

Problem is the other wild card hopefuls aren’t great either. Texas and Cleveland would have to overtake them for the last spot

All three NY HR have been middle middle meatballs. There must be a way to prevent this..
