A lefthander pitching  , roden and wallner both left handed get hits , no outs , jeffers singles and roden scores ....

What is wrong with our third base coach , why didn't hhe send wallner  , he usually sends a player to their death at home plate  ...

Maybe coaching realizes they better preform better or their jobs are in jeopardy  ....

With 1st and 3rd no out, you typically have the contact play on to avoid any chance of a double play. 

With 2 out, I'd send the 2nd runner there too. Simply a fantastic relay.

I was never close to a professional but I found it helpful to look at the ball while swinging at it.
