lol how about the next week when Joe Webb had to start the playoff game

After not taking one single snap all season; Was Baldelli there?

Found it normal that the scorer ruled it a hit because that is the new normal.  An error should have been awarded.

An error was awarded,  allowing  the runner on 2nd to advance.

Cory is very good. Morny, Plouffe, and LaTroy...not so much. I like Perk better than any of those guys. Believe me, there are PLENTY of worse pbp announcers out there. I can stream every MLB game on my android box, and there are some real bad ones out there. Some decent ones too...Chip Caray for the Cards is pretty good. The Mets guys are worth a listen too.

Holy **** Lee is slow.

Watching him live on the Larnach single its like he was pulling a 4 bottom plow. 95 of a 100 runners go 1st to 3rd there

I have been stunned by a number of Twins. A week ago I looked up running times on baseballsavant. I suspected the Twins were the slowest team in baseball but it is a wow.

Right on cue, France hits a slow roller which could have been an infield hit or made the shortstop hurry his throw, but with a Twins running (not Buxton), he is out but more than 10 feet. The infielders can take their time when most of the batters run like an older catcher.

Someone needs to explain to me why Tommy Watkins has a job.  I don't even mean it from the perspective of he's terrible at sending the runners home.  It just seems like the runners aren't even looking at him going from 1st to 3rd and it's causing them to slow down at 2nd and look for the ball and eventually stop instead of going from 1st to 3rd.  I saw it yesterday with Ty France and tonight with Lee.

I've already switched to the NFL Network to watch an old Vikes and Green Bay game from 2011.  Way more interesting than the crap put forth by this team on a daily basis, like tonight.  And it's getting very, very old.

I don't know why I continue to subject myself to this same old garbage from the Twins game after game after game.  Game already over after the top of the 3rd.  About par for the course.

I think I'm done venting now.

Can't wait for this FO and core to be gone.

Time to bring up Miranda and hope he sets another record before returning to blech level.

We can ask for a pinch runner to run for the pinch hitter out of the box, can't we?

Yes, but giving the batter a base hit on a routine ground ball is a little safe, right? Of course the runner advances on the error.

Going 1st to 3rd is 100 percent on the runner

They don’t make comedy movies like this anymore and it’s a shame. All of the movies in the theaters have to be Marvel/super hero BS so they can make a gazillion dollars

Agreed. Its almost impossible to see an error issued these days unless they are forced to.

That's MLB's instructions to official scorers, for some reason

Just a reminder that nobody is required to watch if it makes them upset. I’ve been a fan for over 30 years and the last couple seasons have finally had me flipping over to something else when it gets like this. Doesn’t make you a bad fan. No sense in torturing yourself.

Didn't mean to offend anyone by my comment on Provus. It's just a POV, same as people have on the players.

Poor play is expected and tolerated?

It’s refreshing to hear Ploufe point out the lackadaisical play by the Twins. I wonder what theoretically happens when that filters back to the Manager.

Nothing.  This is Plouffe's 11th game called this season, and he has been consistent in his criticism in all 11 games so far and that's not including his weekly appearances on the Skor North Twins Show on YouTube.

Right now -  I feel sorry for being disappointed by the teams of the Seventies.
