I listened to the Reds broadcast on Sirius today. The opposing broadcast is always on option on the MLB radio app. Rather than being "long gone" this is easier to do now than ever before.

It used to be free - still long gone.

I will not pay to hear Sirius.

Even if it’s just for a day, it’s nice to see the bats wake up. There’s no question that Buxton should be the Twins representative in the all star game.

Buxton and Duran should be the two reps, in my opinion.

Love that win!

I think we'll have our hands full with the Brewers in town though. Milwaukee should have close to (or more than?) 50% of the crowd and they have been playing very well for weeks. If that's not enough, we will face their fireballing phenom on Friday night and on Saturday...wait for it...a lefty! But at least it should be exciting and I'll hope for the best.

I concur.  Living on the oppo side of the world, I've had mlbtv / audio for years.  And since Dick left, I always listen to the oppo broadcast- until they eliminate themselves for being worse than the Twins' crew.  (Texas, Tampa, and counting).

Sadly, it's not like that days on the Dakota prairie, with that scratchy AM car radio providing the free summer soundtrack.  (Or at night, when you could actually catch 'CCO)!

The two others widely projected to be stars this year, Lewis and Correa, haven't produced much at all. I think that's the answer to the query.

I would go deeper and say Correa, while not supplying any punch in the line-up, has been tolerable to this point……with the assumption that he’ll continue to work his way back to his norm.

Lewis & WALLNER are the two that are significantly underperforming. I had expectations for Wallner entering the season. I was at the game yesterday, and his fluid batting average, before his lone hit in 4th PA was close to .200. He should be providing offense……..he’s not, at all.

Clemens has 99 AB’s & 7 HR’s & 25 K’s…. 12 total XBH.

Wallner has 111 AB’s & 5 HR & 36 K’s ……13 total XBH.

Clemens was a DFA free agent pick-up……to me, Wallner should be out performing Clemens by a fair bit!

Lewis, back by August 1st? …..and then what to expect??

But it is no longer free.

Nice win but it is only 1 game. This team needs to go 2-1 at worst this weekend in the border battle. We all know the stadium will be probably 50-50 fans. They can't play like the first two in Cincinnati because they are already 10+ behind the Tigers.
