If the Twins don't make the playoffs it will be one of the most, if not the most, disappointing seasons (for many reasons) in recent memory. Yet nothing will change moving forward. Really makes it hard to be a fan.

Twins wouldn't score 6 runs in all the games next week combined. They have quit today. Totally quit. The pitching is a disgrace and the hitters haven't shown up all day.

Can't blame Rocco for using Sands, who is de facto one of his best relievers in the pen who just so happened to implode. This just simply isn't a viable bullpen.

Not at all.  But Sands should have been out there to START the inning rather than running that dope Irvin out there for more BP.

Yet his believers will defend his decisions until the bitter end. He is an awful manager, yet will most likely be back next year.

Using Irvin like that was dumb, but what are the alternatives? Jax and Duran are the only consistent relievers in the pen. All of them allowing multiple baserunners is unavoidable. A better manager doesn't fix bad relievers and this roster is full of them. And Alcala being in AAA for some reason isn't Rocco's fault. Having 0 capable lefty relievers is also not his fault.
