lecroy24fan Verified Member Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 Provus said last night the Mauer ceremony will start around 5:45 PM, so that's a change from previous ceremonies where they've started at 6 or so and delayed the game. Could be they've listened to complaints or they're trying to beat potential shows sometime after 8 PM. Although latest I saw it may miss TF ciompletely.
CRF Verified Member Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 One down and two to go. Can't let the Sox win one of these games! SWEEP!!! NotAboutWinning 1

BH67 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 The Twins have released Josh Staumont. At least he had mostly good performances before the All-Star break.

BH67 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 Last seven starts per the MLB website: Ober: 48.1 IP, 1.86 ERA, 0.77 WHIP, 9 BB, 56 K López: 44 IP, 2.86 ERA, 0.93 WHIP. 10 BB, 55 K If these two stay on a roll like this, October will happen. If either SWR or Ryan gets on a roll like this, October will be delightful. stringer bell, Strombomb and Parfigliano 3

thelanges5 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 Lefty pitching lineup. We’ve been better against lefties this year than last year. Although not so hot against the Mets. Curious though that Manaea has reverse splits, and we didn’t bat any lefties against him. We only use the data for our batters not their pitchers? Strombomb 1
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 Our best batting lineup has Larnach & Wallner in it. But they're not allowed to hit against lefties, even if the game is out of hand.

TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 Gotta hand it to the video people with this HOF ceremony -- you have 3 other native sons who are not only in the HOF but they also played for the Twins and yet not one frame of video in their introductions showed them in a Twins uniform.

He has a 74 pitch start and a 64 pitch start since the All Star break. they are limiting his innings in their belief that they will need his arm to be stronger in 2025 because they plan to be contenders, or something
