Didn't want the BB huh Royce? It's the same pitch that was called ball 3 in the same spot.

We need to upgrade from the likes of Thielbar, Okert, Staumont, Festa, Paddack.

You honestly think there are no better options than the those players?

You changed your post entirely since I last quoted it. Sure. We can upgrade Thielbar.

Sad to watch this lineup and not envision Miranda and Correa in it vs. a LHP........

Wallner had a hit against a lefty in Detroit,  hell.

I gather that there are mixed reviews of Perkins on TV, but I've been enjoying him on radio. And that's not just because the alternative is Gladden -- Perkins is actually enjoyable (and insightful). He also has a command of the English language.

No, I didn't. What trades do you think I'm referring to? Make moves around the margins. It's what contenders try to do.

Sorry, didn't know you quoted me twice. That's on me. I agree, make some call ups and minor trades to improve the margins.

Complete failure by this offense tonight to not get out to a bigger cushion against Quintana. This is one of the worst savant pages I've ever seen.

That's an indictment on the hitting coaches for whatever garbage plan they came up with going into this game and it's on the hitters for not seeing it in the very first inning like some of us did.  I said it 2 weeks ago and I'll keep saying it -- I'd never throw any of our young players a fastball because they can't recognize off-speed pitches and do anything with them.

He’s been good, though I’m still sore that he blew me off when I told him he pitched a good game (the day before) in 2008 😂

It's like nobody on the Twins got a scouting report on Quintana.

Its like they have never seen a curve ball

Not the first time I've wondered about this. Rocco always says they need to adjust. The curveball is a new invention I guess.. should see a new arm in the 7th.

Was just about to say the same thing, not sure why anyone throws this team a fastball. The newer pitching machines let you program breaking balls into them but I'm sure those are far too expensive for Mr. Pohlad.

They do better against hurlers than tossers anecdotally by my biased opinion.

Buxton still parked on first base thru 2 AB's.  He should be chilling in the dugout and the score should be 6-2.

With this lineup?  Seriously!

It sure doesn't look like it was very expensive (prospect wise) for the Astros to acquire Kikuchi, the Cardinals to acquire Fedde or the Dodgers to get Kopech.  All 3 would look good in a Twins uniform.....

Bit of a geneology junkie here. My great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather, Peter Joder Sr., was born in 1235. His son, Peter Jr., was born in 1260 in Jodershuebel, Berne, Switzerland. And so forth.

How did they like one run games?

I'm not sure that most of them would know how to hit one anyway.

Mandatory Kepler...Germany...parents dancers story told by Mets TV.  Suprised it took this long.

The Mets radio announcers did it much earlier and wasted the next 10 minutes talking about how little they knew about ballet and opera (as though they are the same thing).  So much for New Yorkers being culturally sophisticated…
