Not good news. PF seldom gets better on its own. If he’s out for an extended time, I’d bet on Lee taking over at shortstop.

I hope you're safe. My understanding is that entering a facility name-sponsored by Oracle requires you to give a current retina scan and genetic map to Larry Ellison.

No power yet and no real update from Xcel Energy since this morning at 8 AM. I’m learning my place is pretty good at retaining cool air, but I am getting concerned about food in my fridge and freezer. No power since 1 AM.

The Giants' cross-bay rivals (until September) have scored 24 runs in 26 innings against the Phillies in Philadelphia and are about to win the series.

I believe the Twins did slightly better against the Athletics. I will measure the magnitude of all complaints today about the Twins against this standard.

UPDATE: Make that 29 runs in 27 innings.
